Recently Nepal’s living goddess Kumari was paraded in the streets of Kathmandu.This royal system violates the U N Convention of the Child Rights. Every child has a rightfor parent’s love , care, food, health care, education, leisure for entertainment & game, marriage,security and happy life. Such types of living goddess’s life style and daily routine are very different from other girls. She can not play with common girls. She can’t marry in her life.

Her life becomes burden after her childhood. There are many cases which shows that such types of living goddesses are sexually abused after her childhood or in the middle age.

Sometimes these unmarried girls are also pushed in prostitution.

Every child has right of freedom. The living goddess system is against the all round development of the blooming girls. Such types of religious evils crushes the lives, smiles and sweet dreams of childhood.

Every girl has a birthright to enjoy common life. Living Goddesses are also human beings, They are not earthen or rock idols. This social evil is a crime against the Mother Nature and Goddess Parvati and Goddess Durga.
