- Santosh Kumar (14) a victim who was not well today.He went to the market to buy some eggs for his elder brother.But he died in the bomb blast.

After 15 days of 5 serial bomb blasts in Delhi shopping markets, now today afternoon Delhi rocks again due to the tiffin bomb blast near electronics market of Mehrauli Flower Market,near Audahria Road ward No.8 South Delhi.

According to police sources and eyewitness reports,two youth (one woman)on a Black Pulsar motorbike drove past the crowded market and dropped a black polythene bag.

A 14-year-old boy Santosh Kumar reportedly picked up the bag with an intention of returning it to the bikers and that’s when it exploded,killing the boy instantly.

The bomb was triggered from a device placed in a tiffin box inside the bag.They also say the bikers were aged between 20 and 25 years.

Many of the injured have been taken to the Trauma Centres of All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS)and Safdarjung Hospital,
New Delhi.

NSG team,Delhi POlice team,Dog Squads,Fire Brigade & ambulances were rushed to the spot and police cordoned off the area around the blast site.

According to YS Dadwal,Delhi Police Commissioner in this low intensity bomb blast one child died in the this blast.Nearly about 15 injured victims have been admitted in the Trauma Centres of AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital,New Delhi.Ammonium Nitrates and Iron nails were used in this bomb.

Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil eludes from the media persons and he did not comment on this incident.
