Viral   Death  Wave  At  Sitapur

Thirty six kids and youth were killed in more than six villages of Sitapur in UP due to a sudden spread of an unknown viral disease within the last 72 hours. Sitapur is only 20 km away from the Kanpur.

According to local Doctors the main symptoms of this unknown viral disease are high fever, headache and diarrhea. Central Government and UP government’s negligence is the major cause of the Dance of Death at Sitapur. It has killed more than 36 innocent kids and youths. More than ten dozen patients are hospitalized in the local Government Hospitals. Guardians of patients says that there is lack of expert doctors, life saving drugs and other essential Medicare.

Johra’s son Md Anees and her grandsons are also in the list of this tragic viral death wave.Majority of patients belongs low income groups. Doctors are engaged in Guess Treatment,the causes and type of unknown virus yet.

“There is not any facility of viral test in UP, despite the inauguration of the National Institute of Virology (NIV)In Gorakhpur one and half years ago. NIV is completely a victim of Center’s dual policy and negligence. We are still awaiting for the Center’s approval to start it.

There are No symptoms of Malaria among patients. I have sent a medical team for the diagnosis of the unknown Viral Disease.” said the State Health Minister of UP Anant Kumar Mishra.
