Today is 80th Birthday of Melody Queen Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. She was born on September 28,1929 at Indore. She
is also called nightingle. She is the No.1 female playback
singer of Indian Film Industry. She has sung more than 30,000
songs yet.Her father Pt. Dinanath Mangeshkar was her music master. Her mother Sudhhamati was her father’s second wife.She
is the eldest child of her parents.

Playback Singer Asha Bhoshle, Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar are her younger sisters. Music Director Hridaynath Mangeshkar is her younger brother.

A very very warm & hearty Happy Birthday to you Lata Didi ! Yes, she has turned 80 today. But her voice is too soft and sweet as it was 30 years back. I am a fan of Lata di and I wish her a longer live, so that we can have many more melodious songs to listen. thanks for the article Rajan. I love the video u have sent... Ee dile nadan..
